Role Summary

You are a senior client leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, delivery, and relationship management.

You bring clarity to complexity. You understand how brand, creative, web development, performance marketing, and content work together to drive meaningful business outcomes. Clients trust you because you understand their business deeply. Internal teams rely on you because you make decisions early, enforce scope, and protect focus.

This role serves as a strategic leader, owning complex client relationships, driving retention and growth, and strengthening delivery discipline across engagements.

What You’ll Do

Client Strategy & Direction

  • Lead $1M – $2.0M+ in client revenue across our services including web development, marketing, brand strategy, creative, and content.
  • Establish strategic, trusted partnerships with clients, understanding business and revenue models in order to support strategic goals
  • Develop data-informed reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
  • Translate business objectives into integrated, executable strategies
  • Identify tradeoffs across disciplines and make clear, confident recommendations
  • Ensure client work remains aligned to defined priorities and success metrics

Scope Discipline & Decision Leadership

  • Interpret and enforce scopes of work across engagements
  • Evaluate new client requests against impact, capacity, and margin
  • Lead change-order discussions when needed
  • Serve as an escalation point below for complex delivery or scope decisions

New Business, Retention & Growth

  • Review RFPs and support the proposal process by scoping, estimating, and developing proposals
  • With Business Development, build, lead, and participate in pitches for new clients
  • Own client health and renewal readiness
  • Identify expansion opportunities aligned to client goals
  • Partner with Business Development on proposal development for existing accounts
  • Lead renewal conversations and contract evolution

Cross-Functional Orchestration

  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally
  • Align creative, marketing, web, and content teams around clear priorities
  • Partner with Operations & Project Managers to support work delivery
  • Ensure decisions are documented and communicated clearly
  • Reduce friction across departments through proactive leadership

Team Development

  • Mentor Account Leads and Client Services team members
  • Model strategic thinking and confident client leadership
  • Help build repeatable standards within Client Services & Strategy

What You Bring

  • 6–10 years of agency experience in integrated marketing, brand, web, or performance environments
  • Experience managing $650K–$1M+ in client revenue responsibly
  • Proven track record of client retention and contract growth
  • Strong financial acumen and comfort managing profitability
  • Confidence leading executive-level client conversations
  • Ability to operate in gray areas and make decisions with incomplete information
  • Clear communicator with strong documentation discipline
  • Familiarity with project management systems (Monday.com preferred)
  • Experience working across creative, web development, and performance teams
  • Experience leading web development projects a plus
